Washigatake in Japan (located in the Gifu prefecture) is a small ski resort with just 5 ski lifts but it does boast a respectable 440 metres (1443 feet) of vertical descent. Washigatake has 148 acres of terrain over 12 pistes. Washigatake is best suited for intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is a also a lot of terrain for beginners and experts too.
