Located only an hour from Calgary, this legendary mountain is blessed with 600-900cm (236"-354") of dry Rocky Mountain powder and 700m vertical (2300') of amazingly varied terrain. Re open Fortress! This place used to be one of the best hills in the country! Canada needs more ski hills with old lifts, friendly locals and deep pow than high-speed quads and Euros stomping on your skis! Canadian ski culture needs more resorts like Fortress!
