Fondo in Italy (in the Trentino region) is a very small ski resort with just three ski lifts ( 2 chair lifts, 1 surface lift) but it does boast a respectable 400 metres (1312 feet) of vertical descent. Fondo has 5 pistes. Fondo is evenly suited for both advanced and intermediate skiers and snowboarders but with some terrain for beginners. Cross country ski trails can be found Fondo. The nearest airport is at Bolzano and the nearest train station to Fondo is at Mezzocorona.
