Skiing

It is a very special kind of natural experience when your own tracks are visible in the snow. The 4-mountain ski area Schladming with Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm offers all skiers a unique skiing pleasure, no matter big or small. Everyone will find their favorite mountain here. By linking all 4 mountains, you can ski them all in one day and whiz down the various slopes. Through the Ski Amade tickets all 4 mountains are included, which are not only available in the online store, but also in our Apart33 Hotel in Haus im Ennstal and our Chalet Village in Ramsau. From both Apart33 and SunApart in Weißenbach you are only 5 minutes away from the valley station Hauser Kaibling by car. In addition, there is the ski bus, which reliably stops in Haus and Weißenbach every day. The bus stop is only a 1-minute walk away. In Ramsau the slopes are also very close: Within 15 minutes you are in Schladming and 5 minutes at the Erlebnissberg Rittisberg – which is very popular with our smaller guests and is also perfect for skiing beginners. Because of the flat, snow-covered areas at the bottom station, beginners can get to grips with skiing.

Cross-country skiing

The cross-country skiing area on the sunny plateau Ramsau am Dachstein invites you with its 220 kilometres of prepared trails. You meet not only locals and vacationers, but also the international elite of Nordic skiing. Only a few meters away from our Chalet Village in Ramsau you will find the stadium and the sun trail. So you can start directly from the apartment and enjoy the day. With the Ramsauer winter card there are even discounts on the cross-country skiing tickets! Every guest of the Chalet Village Ramsau receives one upon arrival.

(Night)Tobogganing

The Hochwurzen natural toboggan run, almost 7 km long, is the perfect complement to skiing. Vibrant, fast and full of twists – this is how the 5 km long natural toboggan run on the Galsterberg presents itself. Last but not least, the ride down into the valley from the Rittisberg starts at 1500 m above sea level with a more than 3.5 km long night toboggan run. This winter wonderland invites in the evening hours to a hearty tobogganing. The gondola lift takes you comfortably to the top station. The toboggan runs are illuminated with different colourful light, making it a very special experience even at night. Toboggans and sledges can be rented on site. Just ask our adventurous staff about their experiences and adventures on the toboggan runs!

Winter hiking & snowshoeing – With the right equipment, you can go uphill!

In addition to the wide selection of ski slopes, the region also offers many opportunities for hiking in winter. A quiet and gentle way to experience the joy of winter. Many different tours are available. Hiking in the winter shows our mountains from their most beautiful side. Immerse yourself in a winter fairy tale of glittering ice crystals, bright sunshine and clear winter air. Almost 40 different tours are available to you. A special experience is a snowshoe hike through the deeply snow-covered winter landscape. Our mountain guides Johanna Koubek and Nicole Bergmann will be happy to show you the most beautiful places in the winter wonderland of Schladming.
