You get the option of different lenses with the Universe and this model features Julbo’s Cameleon photochromic lens, which utilises NXT lens material for light weight. This is also virtually unbreakable and optically perfect, but the best thing is that since its photochromic the Cameleon lens will work in any light conditions.
The Universe uses Julbo’s Minimalist Frame Concept to offer the maximum field of vision from any angle, and it’s highly effective; these goggles offer some of the best peripheral vision out there, which you notice straight away. This is in large part thanks to the fact that there’s no bulky frame protruding on the edges of your vision.
The flexible frame and super soft dual face foam make the goggles very comfortable in use, as does the strap which has symmetrical adjustment to ensure an even pressure on your face along with a silicone backing to keep it stuck to your helmet.
The Universe isn’t cheap but bear in mind that you get one lens for all conditions along with great peripheral vision and comfort.
