It’s been a good week in Japan with regular deliveries of the country’s famous powder, most days. Niseko (90/200cm / 36/80”) is currently posting the country’s deepest snow up high and things look to be lining up well for a great season, fingers crossed. Hakuba’s famous snowy Happo One (40/180cm / 16/72”) is just a little way behind.

There's no real let-up in the snowfall forecast, as is normal for an average season in Japan. Daily accumulations of 10-20cm (4-8”) of snowfall should continue to build basses of fabulous light powder in most areas. Temperatures typically in the -5 to -15 range.
