Lipno - Kramolín is nestled near the Lipno Lake in Šumava region, 60km SW of Ceske Budejovice. Parking and accommodation is at the lakeside and an access chair arrives at the tree-lined ski area of Lipno - Kramolín which, mostly, faces away from the lake. Lipno - Kramolín is a great resort for timid beginners and families with kids. There is a small terrain park, but expert skiers and boarders should look elsewhere. There's 50km of cross-country trails with extensive snow making and night skiing.

Lipno (Lipno - Kramolín) is very small (2 blue and 2 red slopes), but very well organised resort.

It is perfect for children and beginners! Intermediate skiers must go somewhere else.

The Frybourk lake is excellent for ice skating..
