Praised for it's immense amount of snow (7m or 275in a year) for it's altitude (3,600m or 11,811ft) it's vertical drop (950m or 3,116ft) its absolute north-face and it's long ski season (used to continue until early June, before recent global climate changes) and finally for it's incredible off-pistes!
